Jaffer’s posterous

I've been exploring Posterous for the past couple of days. Now that I am more comfortable with it and have discovered a great community of users here, I'd like to take my new blog more seriously.

I'm trying to loose weight and I've journal somewhere which is private. I'm into photography but I've a better response and views on my Flickr. And for the past few weeks I've been trying to brush-up my French and Arabic - but I prefer filling in a paper notebook instead.

I could start a blog on religious lines but I need to think of a particular area to focus on because I don't want a mixed bag of topics from everywhere and possibly create controversy. Besides, I am not too sure about the reaction such a blog would get !

Looks like I need to discover a niche among things I do. So I need a few days to think about it. Until then, A bien tôt !

I am quite intrigued how easy this might be after reading an introductory post about Posterous on Techcrunch. I always used Tumblr for short bursts of messages, pictures and audio, which I wouldn't care to share on my blog.

But what could be easier than just writing an e-mail, sending attachments - and then have an entire blog post ready for the rest of the world to see.
